Bill Gates’ alleged relationship with married women raises questions about his character

Bill Gates, the multimillionaire Microsoft co-founder, was viewed and above all respected by the public as a nerdy, smart and goofy guy. In the tech community, it was different. Gates was feared. Rivals viewed him as brutal and ruthless.

The Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice Accused Microsoft of Running a Monopoly and sued – US v. Microsoft. The competitors were taken out of service. His childhood best friend and co-founder, Paul Allen, claimed that Gates “conspired with Microsoft’s first CEO Steve Ballmer to reduce his co-founder’s stake” while he was “recovering from treatment for lymphoma. ”

Promoting Gates’ cultured personality of a well-meaning billionaire, Time magazine wrote in March 2020: “On Friday evening, original co-founder and CEO Bill Gates, the man most closely identified with the world’s largest software maker, said he would be stepping down from the board of directors of the company to devote more time to its charitable foundation, which is playing a key role in global health initiatives and expanding into new areas like climate change. The takeaways of this type of wacky reporting belied the real man.

The real story, according to the The Wall Street Journal, was very different from what was initially reported. “Members of the board of directors of Microsoft Corp. have decided that Bill Gates had to resign from his board of directors in 2020, as they continued an investigation into the billionaire’s prior romantic relationship with a Microsoft employee, which was deemed inappropriate.

An investigation by Microsoft’s board has determined that Gates must leave. After decades of running the software company, Gates resigned before the card has finished its probe.

the the Wall Street newspaperThe illuminating investigative piece coincided with an article in The New York Times alleging that Gates made overtures to women at Microsoft and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. the New York Times cited two cases where “the tech mogul awkwardly asked the women who worked for him at Microsoft and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.”

According to Daily beast, “sex offender Jeffrey Epstein given Bill Gates advice on ending his marriage to Melinda after the Microsoft co-founder complained about her in a series of meetings at the finance manager’s mansion, according to two people familiar with the situation.

“The Daily beast exclusively reported, Melinda Gates was furious on Bill’s relationship with Epstein, and was put off by the creepy financier upon meeting him in September 2013. ”It was also reported that she was“ upset with the way Bill handled a previously undisclosed sexual harassment complaint against his longtime financial manager, Michael Larson, in 2018. ”

Gates met and courted Melinda French Gates while she was a Microsoft employee. She started dating Gates in 1987, the couple married in 1994 and have three children. The couple recently announced their divorce after 27 years of marriage.

Gates has become a fixture in the news, weighing in on Covid-19, vaccines and a wide range of other global issues. Its old approach to business without a prisoner at Microsoft has been forgotten. He has transformed into a caring and well-meaning new philanthropist character.

In all fairness, Gates has done a great job with his foundation and his efforts. He may have saved and improved millions of lives around the world through his philanthropic efforts.

It seems, in hindsight, that this may have been some sort of attempted redemption, atonement for past actions. Sadly, in light of these allegations, Gates’ reputation and practices are now open to further questions and scrutiny.
